Week 56, Volume 56

The Perfect Day

Dr. Joe Dispenza’s words are forever marked onto my brain: “If learning means making new connections in your brain, memories are when you maintain those connections. The more you repeat a thought, choice, behavior, experience or emotion, the more those neurons fire and wire together and the more they will sustain a long relationship.”

So, where we focus our energy, negative or positive, we will create a bond, a feeling, an emotion, because our energy generally is attached to our personal history or an uncomfortableness and anxiety regarding our future. To finally create that perfect day, we need to live in the now. I mean this very moment with no attachment to time, the environment or to our bodies. Walt Whitman declared that to me: “Every hour of the day and night is unspeakably perfect.” To construct a perfect day, we need to abandon our familiar past. If not, it will be responsible for creating our predictable future.
